Creek Chub 800 Deluxe Wagtail Chub
The #800 Deluxe Wagtail Chub was first introduced by Creek Chub Bait Company in 1921 and was made until around 1953. CCBC Deluxe Wagtail lures can be found with glass eyes and either flat or fluted metal tails. The earliest Wagtails have unmarked lips. Later the lips were marked C.C.B.CO Garrett Ind, and after that PAT 9-27-20 was added to the lip. They were advertised as having 7 catalogued colors and many special order colors were also done by request.
