Creek Chub 1200 & 1300 Fly Rod Pikie

The #1200 & #1300 Fly Rod Pikie were first introduced by Creek Chub Bait Company in 1924 and was made until around 1945. CCBC Flyrod Pikies are wooden with painted eyes or no eyes. The #1200 is 1 1/4" and the #1300 is 1 5/8". They were advertised as having only 3 catalogued colors and many special order colors were also done by request.

Creek Chub Fly Rod Pikie lures have been found in many colors! Some CCBCO boxes have end labels with the color names spelled out. Others are simply stamped with a code. Here is a color chart to help you discover what color your Flyrod Pikie is.
